Shapes Dance & Acro's Richmond, Missouri studio, located at 106 Wollard Blvd. Richmond, MO, has been serving the community for 28 years. SDA's Richmond studio offers dance and acrobatics classes for children and teens, ages 18 months to 18 years old.

Ballet

The core of dance, SDA offers ballet classes for many age groups and levels. Students build a strong foundation of proper technique and body placement that translates to many other dance genres.

Tap

Dancers explore rhythms, tap fundamentals and important terminology starting at the youngest age groups, building to more advanced rhythms and skills.

Hip Hop

SDA offers upbeat, energetic hip hop classes that build strength and athleticism to build a solid foundation for students to master this genre of dance.

Jazz

Dancers learn jazz movements, such as kicks, turns and leaps, while building flexibility and strength. Jazz is the foundation for many other styles of dance, and helps students feel confident learning complex choreography.

Acro

SDA's acrobatics (acro) classes are for the student who likes to flip and flop! Strength, conditioning and flexibility are core components of acro classes, combined with tumbling skills like cartwheels, handstands and back bends.

Sparkle Squad

Sparkle Squad is for dancers, ages 5 +, that want to go above and beyond as community ambassadors! Dancers perform in festivals, parades and other events. Sparkle Squad is by invitation only. Contact SDA for more details!

Cheer

SDA's cheer classes teach key skills, like jumps, dance, and tumbling, that prepare students for not just recreational level cheering at school, but competitive cheer leading!

Competition

Compete with SDA! Our CORE team combines dance and acro for ages 5+. SET is competitive tumbling and Elite All Stars is competitive cheerleading for ages 6+. All teams are invite / audition only. Please contact SDA for details!

Bundle to Save! Enroll in 3 classes at the Heart, Star and/or Diamond level to bundle your costume fees. The average costume fee is $150, but our bundle program gives you a 3 in 1 price and tuition discount.

Recital Fees: Costs vary depending on the classes that your student is enrolled in. Fees start at $150 and include costumes in an individual garment bag, costume embellishments and alterations, recital t-shirt and souvenir, digital copy of your student's class photo and a family appreciation party.

Classroom Dress Code: Read SDA's dress code policy page to learn about what your student needs for their classes! We do not have items on-site for purchase, but we partner with a preferred vendor to make the process simple and reliable.
